Have your say on council priorities
A new council term began in May 2017 and we are now working to develop our new council priorities. These will strengthen everything we do between now and 2022.
Our priorities are split between the four themes that we have identified. Once the priorities are approved, they will form part of the Council Plan. This is the document that gives residents, staff, businesses and our partners a clear understanding of our key issues.
The priorities make clear exactly what sort of council we want to be, and what sort of council you need us to be. That's why we would like to hear what you have to say. We also really want to get your views on the opportunities that these present.

Thank you to everyone who took part in the consultation on the council priorities.
You have been telling us what you think of the draft priorities for the last few weeks, and now we are moving into the evaluation phase. We are taking the results of what you said, along with feedback from elected members, our Citizens Panel, and community based sessions and using all of that to create our Council Plan.
This will go to Full Council meeting in November for approval and will essentially be the document which gives councillors, council staff, residents, businesses and our partners a clear understanding of what the key issues for Aberdeenshire are. It will be the focus of long term action. Aberdeenshire Council will use this as a way of setting direction, working out what is important and will budget accordingly.
